Oh my. That kid is way too tech savvy already. He moved all my apps around the other day and I couldn't find the button for my actual phone on my phone (oh the joy of the iPhone).
And yes. I rarely see my son's head without that football helmet or his baseball helmet on. Today he ran in and yelled, "TOME ON, MOM! TOME ON! TACKLE NANNEN!! TACKLE NANNEN, MOM!!"
We went to Walmart Tuesday and Nathan managed to talk Jon into this cute little Cars lunchbox that was on clearance for $2. So yesterday, he came in holding the lunchbox while I was in the middle of deep cleaning about six months of filth off my oven and declared that it was time to "doe to da zoo" so we could have a "picwic."
Seeing as how our zoo is about a 30 minute drive and it was nearly lunchtime already, I told him we'd have to settle for something else. The backyard. I finished cleaning, packed him a lunch in his lunchbox and he carried it out to the grass all proudly.
That seemed to be an acceptable alternative.
Crazy cutie head. ;)
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church
and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
-Ephesians 3:20-21
He sounds even better at technology than me! ;) By the way, I absolutely LOVE the verse at the bottom of this post...it has been a promise that I have been (and still am!) holding onto for a while now, and it is full of so much hope! Thanks for the little bit of extra encouragement. :)
ReplyDeleteGod Bless!
Too cute! We live about 45 minutes from the same zoo, so it doesn't happen too often either.
ReplyDeleteI was so glad to hear that your writing is going well. Keep it up!
