We went in today for our follow-up appointment to confirm a miscarriage and dear ones, we saw a HEARTBEAT!! 138 beats per minute - the most beautiful heartbeat I have ever seen in my whole life! All three of us - Jon, me and the ultrasound tech - were just staring at the screen in shock and the tech, bless her heart, finally said, "Well...That is a heartbeat!"
The baby is still measuring small (though there was 5 days growth since Wednesday!!) and I am still spotting, so we are not out of the woods yet. PLEASE PRAY. Please, please, please pray for our precious miracle baby!!
Our God is the worker of miracles!! He is the creator of ALL! Praise His name forever and ever! Oh, friends, the comfort I have felt from Him this week and the joy I have from Him today! Blessed be the name of the Lord!!

ReplyDeleteI have shivers running up and down my spine! How AMAZING is out God? We already knew he was, but to see this amazingness in action...it kind of takes your breath away! You can't help but smile and rejoice at HOW MUCH our God LOVES US. :) I am so excited for you and so blessed to be part of this miracle. And of course, my prayers are with you and your family always. :)

ReplyDeleteYou need to give yourself mad props for refusing to take that pill to speed up the miscarriage. YOU had a hand in saving your baby, Erynn. All God, but he did use you for part of it. You're an amazing, wonderful, thoughtful mommy, and that child owes you for her life in more ways than one. :D

ReplyDeleteWOW!!!! God is awesome!! His goodness no one can fathom...I was praying for you while driving yesterday and felt led to speak life and pray for a MIRACLE. My first thought was "it's been a few days...", but I asked God to provide the faith and WOW. Faith the size of a mustard seed...
